Monthly Round Up: Next Actions (October 2023)
A quick round up of this month's topic: Next Actions to move a creative project forwards.
Hey Fellow Planner and Creator 👋🏽 our topic for October has been all about moving a creative project forward with clear and easy next actions.
This topic idea was based on the book Effortless by Greg McKeown. I've really enjoyed listening to Greg's stories and strategies around making it easier to do make matters most. One of my favourites would have to be the bag of 1000 beads story, because I’m using a variation of it (a jar of pebbles) to hold me accountable for publishing weekly videos on my YouTube Channel.
In case you’re a new subscriber, here’s what you missed:
We kicked the month of with a process for removing unnecessary complications from projects so you can focus on the important tasks and get stuff done.
Then we explored a method for creatives and content creators to overcome perfectionism so they can start taking consistent action.
Followed by an idea for project pacing (aka, using a jar of pebbles to embrace being rubbish), because the only thing harder than starting a project is finishing it when perfectionism creeps in.
These three articles provide concepts for content creators and creative small business owners to complete their projects with more ease and grace.
