An Experiment in Mastering “Next Actions” to Effortlessly Move a Project Forward.
Stop feeling stuck or unsure about what to do next in your creative business and start gaining the knowledge and confidence to make progress.
As a solo business owner, I often find myself feeling like I’ve hit a wall, unsure about the best way to move my project forward, and sometimes even my business if the truth be known!
And I’m sure I'm not alone in this struggle as many other creatives and solopreneurs will face similar challenges during their business journey.
So with that in mind, this month's topic is centred around "Next Actions", and is inspired by Greg McKeown’s book “Effortless*”. By the end of this series our goal is to have practical methods to road test that will give us ways to make consistent, steady progress.
In this series we will effortlessly know our “Next Action”, as well as:
Practice the art of elimination as a way to make projects easier to complete.
Dig into to why being rubbish is vital to progress.
Look at techniques for sustaining a steady pace for getting stuff done.
Remember, slow productivity is the key to sustainable success. Together, let's create a business and life we're excited about while maintaining a low-stress and well organised approach.
October Book Club: Effortless
I’m currently listening to Effortless by Greg McKeown *. It’s a follow-on to his brilliant book Essentialism*, which I listened to earlier this year. I highly recommend both books for inspiration and teachings on how to simplify life yet still make an impact. I found that “Essentialism” sets a foundation for the why, where as “Effortless*” seems to be the practical how!

If you’d like follow along with me and share a-ha moments together you can join the “book club” - I’m thinking Substack is a good place to host the book club, so let’s test it out and see how it goes.
